Business Analyst

Pay rate: £24.25 per hour
Location: Remote (Wales-based organisation) – Travel to Cardiff required twice in the first month, then once monthly
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week

We’re recruiting for a Business Analyst to join a prestigious public sector organisation in Wales. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to meaningful work in a remote capacity, with occasional travel to Cardiff.

Business Analyst Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support data process automation initiatives.
  • Utilise Azure DevOps for project tracking and delivery.
  • Analyse and improve existing workflows and systems.
  • Develop and interpret data process flow diagrams and entity-relationship diagrams.
  • Collaborate across teams to build effective, scalable solutions.
  • Work through the phased development lifecycle, ensuring quality and consistency.

What We’re Looking For in a Business Analyst:

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps is essential.
  • Proven experience in business analysis, especially in data-heavy environments.
  • Solid understanding of process mapping and solution design.
  • Background in scientific, environmental, or water-related sectors is advantageous but not essential.
