About the Role

We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst to join a growing National Security team delivering mission-critical solutions that help keep the nation safe, secure, and prosperous.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies, including Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Cyber Security, Cloud, DevOps, SRE, and Platform Engineering, supporting complex and high-impact programmes.

As a technically focused Business Analyst or business-focused Systems Engineer, you will play a key role in bridging business requirements and technical solutions. You will work closely with customers, stakeholders, and engineering teams to gather requirements, analyse processes, define system options, and support the successful delivery of innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyse, and document business and technical requirements.
  • Conduct process mapping, data analysis, and requirements management activities.
  • Define and evaluate system options to support engineering and delivery teams.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Produce clear and concise documentation, including user requirements and process models.
  • Assess opportunities to leverage AI and automation where appropriate within highly regulated environments.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences and articulate business needs to engineering teams.
  • Support the delivery of solutions across the full project lifecycle.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
