Business and Citizenship Teacher
The pioneering education group, Activate Learning, is looking for a Business and Citizenship Teacher to join their Academic Studies teaching team.
We seek motivated, enthusiastic, and passionate individuals with the ability to inspire, ensuring our students enjoy a memorable learning experience.
About the Role
With your excellent subject knowledge and practical teaching skills, you will collaborate with our talented team to:
- Plan and deliver purposeful practical and theory lessons on A-Level Business and Citizenship courses
- Contribute to curriculum development, addressing evolving industry demands
Our Vocational Business courses excels in employability, thanks to:
- Strong industry relationships
- Expert teaching team with extensive professional business experience
This is a permanent, part-time position (19.4 hrs/week, 0.52 FTE) at our Farnham College campus.
Success as a Business and Citizenship Teacher
Ideal candidates embody our values and can:
- Be role models for students, equipping them with essential workplace attributes beyond qualifications.
- Demonstrate a genuine interest in developing young people’s careers.
Requirements:
- Experience in a business-related sector preferred, but not mandatory
- Degree qualification required
- Strong communication skills and interpersonal abilities for engaging diverse learners
- Outstanding organisation and prioritisation skills
