About the Role
We are currently seeking a Graduate Pest Control Technician to join our team, covering multiple locations, from fresh graduates with little or no industrial experience. We welcome applicants with a science-based, business management, or social science degree, though requirements can include a minimum 2.2 degree in a relevant subject.

Graduate Pest Control Technician Role
As a Pest Control Technician, you'll begin in a field-based technical role, focusing on a specific geographical area for 6-12 months. In this time:

- Conduct inspections of customer premises to identify pests and risks
- Swiftly tackle pest issues by cleaning and removing evidence
- Provide specialist advice to customers on pest prevention & hygiene maintenance
- Complete detailed reports after each visit
- Deliver exceptional customer service, upholding Rentokil’s professional standards
After 12-36 months, branch into one of these career pathways:

Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
🔸 Preventing & Eliminating Pest Activity
- Inspect properties for pests and mitigate threats
- Remove infestations via cleaning, equipment use, and hygiene procedures
🔸 Customer Service & Support
- Offer expert advice on pest-proofing and hygiene
- Create and maintain accurate service reports post-visit
🔸 Safety & Professionalism
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Maintain a high standard of professionalism in all customer interactions
🔸 Encouraging Referrals (Non-Sales)
- Generate trust-based sales leads worth ** commission rewards** (Note: This is not a sales role but provides incentives for strong relationships."
Requirements
✔ Minimum 3rd-class degree (2.2) in:
- Applied sciences (including social science)
- Business Management
- Hospitality or Tourism (BA level)
✔ Passion & Qualities
- Enthusiasm for problem-solving & customer interaction
- Flexibility to adapt work patterns
- Providing a DBS check if required
