Business Apprentice Care Administrator
Seeking a confident individual with good communication skills, able to work independently, and who enjoys tasks with excitement when a good outcome is achieved. The ideal candidate is active, needs to be occupied, willing to think outside the box, not afraid to face challenging situations, able to work under pressure, and focused on the vision of the business.
Requirements
- GCSE in Maths and English (grade 4/C or above)
- Skilled in the use of multiple IT packages and systems relevant to the organisation (e.g., MS Office or equivalent).
- Able to choose the most appropriate IT solution to suit the business problem.
- Able to update and review databases, record information, and produce data analysis.
- Proactivity and good judgement.
- Ability to make effective decisions based on sound reasoning and deal with challenges maturely.
- Ability to seek advice from more experienced team members when appropriate.
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships within their own team and across the organisation.
- Demonstrates ability to influence and challenge appropriately.
- Good communication skills (face-to-face, telephone, written, digital).
- Ability to use the most appropriate channels to communicate effectively.
- Agility and confidence in communications, carrying authority appropriately.
- Understanding and application of social media solutions.
- Ability to answer questions from inside and outside the organisation.
- Ability to complete tasks to a high standard and continuously improve their work.
- Ability to review processes autonomously and make suggestions for improvements.
- Problem-solving skills to resolve challenging or complex complaints.
- Takes responsibility for initiating and completing tasks, managing priorities and time to meet deadlines.
- Ability to manage the expectations of colleagues at all levels and set a positive example.
- Ability to make suggestions for improvements to working practice, understanding implications beyond the immediate environment.
- Ability to manage resources (e.g., equipment or facilities).
- Ability to use relevant project management principles and tools.

Responsibilities
- Dealing with new enquiries.
- Managing caseloads with care managers.
- Recruiting and training.
- Attending meetings.
- Liaising with families and team leaders.
- Working occasional out of hours.
- Coaching others in required processes.
- Acting as a key point of contact for addressing issues.
- Organising meetings and events.
- Taking minutes during meetings and creating action logs.
- Taking responsibility for logistics (e.g., travel and accommodation).
- Undertaking and leading projects as and when required.

- This is an apprenticeship with specialist training. You’ll study to gain professional knowledge and skills.
- A 100% tailored training and assessment program will be delivered to support you throughout your Apprenticeship (18 months including endpoint assessment).
