Venesky-Brown Recruitment Opportunity

Venesky-Brown are supporting a Major UK Infrastructure Project, who are currently looking to recruit a Business Architect until the end of March 2027 on a rate of £650/day (Inside IR35). This role will be based in Leiston 2-3 days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate site connectivity initiatives across multiple construction and operational workstreams.
  • Act as the primary interface between site operations, Digital & IT, suppliers and programme delivery teams.
  • Support the mobilisation of connectivity services into new buildings, compounds and operational areas.
  • Engage with facilities, construction, logistics and contractor teams to understand site requirements and constraints.
  • Ensure appropriate governance, assurance and approval activities are completed.
  • Support investment cases, project documentation and programme reporting where required.
  • Coordinate supplier activities and ensure delivery commitments are understood and tracked.
  • Escalate blockers and delivery risks proactively.
  • Maintain stakeholder alignment across operational and project teams.
  • Support operational transition and handover activities for connectivity services.

Essential Skills

  • Experience coordinating complex infrastructure, facilities, telecommunications, networking, or connectivity projects
  • Experience with physical hardware fit design, planning, procurement, and installation for the above activities
  • Experience working on large site mobilisation programmes
  • Experience working alongside:
    • Facilities Management teams
    • Site Operations teams
    • Construction delivery teams
    • Network and telecommunications engineers
    • Infrastructure or IT operations teams
    • Internet, and Telephony Service providers and contractors
  • Highly organised and proactive.
  • Comfortable working on a live construction site.
  • Strong at coordinating people and analysing requirements.
  • Confident challenging suppliers and driving actions to completion.
  • Able to build relationships quickly across operational and technical teams.
  • Pragmatic, delivery-focused and comfortable dealing with ambiguity.
