Growth priorities focus on:

  • Operating model design
  • Change management
  • Performance improvement (especially in Energy, Water & Defence).

Responsibilities

You will:

  • Lead complex consulting engagements or major workstreams—from scoping through delivery—ensuring high-quality outputs, strong project governance and clear accountability.
  • Design and implement credible, scalable methodologies addressing client challenges like operating models, organisation design, governance, service transformation, and business change.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, managing expectations confidently and providing strategic advice.
  • Translate complex data into clear, decision-ready recommendations, roadmaps, and executive communications.
  • Facilitate workshops and align stakeholders across priorities, trade-offs, and implementation choices.
  • Apply horizon scanning and market insights to assess future challenges and enhance client discussions.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, connecting clients with specialist AECOM resources for seamless delivery.
  • Proactively oversee scope, risk, quality, and commercial performance—intervening early when risks materialise.
  • Drive business development by identifying follow-on projects, contributing to proposals, and deepening relationships in priority sectors.
  • Coach consultants and senior consultants, delivering clear feedback on analysis, problem structuring, storylining, and client engagement.
  • Optimise team structures—aligning expertise, capabilities, and business goals to client needs.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
