About the role
A Business Assistant provides operational claims processing and administrative support across a wide range of activities. The role focuses on accurately handling incoming post, maintaining claims systems, and supporting internal teams to meet service level agreements. It requires strong attention to detail, effective communication with clients and colleagues, and the ability to manage high volumes of work efficiently while contributing to reporting, compliance, and overall business operations.
What your day will look like:
- Process incoming post, log tasks and maintain accurate records on claims systems such as Appian
- Provide administrative support including scanning, archiving, and attaching documents to virtual claim files
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate data and effective communication
- Support claims processes, reporting, and audits while meeting SLA requirements and business targets
