Administrative Assistant & Business Assistant – Blaby/Lutterworth Neighbourhood Team

Job Overview

We have an excellent opportunity for an Administrative Assistant to join our team at the Blaby/Lutterworth Neighbourhood team. This is an incredibly rewarding role, working with a team who support people with mental health issues within the Adult Mental Health Directorate.

As a Business Assistant, you will provide catera gratuitous administrative service to a multidisciplinary team in a community setting. You will be joining a welcoming team who work well together and support each other.

Key Responsibilities

Core Duties

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records on SystmOne, ensuring timely and precise entry of referrals and waiting lists while adhering to data protection standards.
  • Perform general clerical duties, including scanning, printing, photocopying, typing emails, and preparing letters as requested.
  • Answer and make telephone calls (internal/external) in line with Trust standards, taking messages accurately and transferring calls as needed while maintaining strict confidentiality.
  • Handle reception duties, providing support to patients, visitors, and staff by acknowledging their presence and assisting them appropriately.
  • Support the outpatient function by booking/giving appointments, managing clinic cancellations, and ordering supplies.
  • Monitor the status of orders and receipts to ensure invoice reconciliation remains correct.
