Role Purpose
We are looking for a coach-player leader to own and accelerate business automation across the company. This role will lead and work hands-on with a small team to proactively identify, design, and deliver automation that replaces manual processes, improves visibility, and drives measurable productivity gains.
As an AI-first company, this role sits at the intersection of operations, data, and AI. You will champion the use of AI, intelligent automation, and modern tooling to fundamentally improve how the business runs, not just make existing processes slightly faster.
What You’ll Do
Strategic Leadership
- Own the business automation strategy end-to-end, aligned to company priorities
- Identify high-impact opportunities to replace or redesign manual workflows across functions (e.g. Sales, Finance, Marketing, Customer Success, HR)
- Define success metrics for automation initiatives (time saved, cost reduction, visibility, quality, risk reduction)
Hands-On Delivery (Coach-Player)
- Actively design and build automations alongside the team, this is not a purely managerial role
- Rapidly prototype and deploy solutions using AI, workflow automation, and integration platforms
- Balance speed with robustness: ship value quickly, then iterate
AI & Intelligent Automation
- Apply AI pragmatically to real business problems (e.g. process automation, document handling, reporting, forecasting, decision support)
- Continuously explore and evaluate new AI capabilities and tools, bringing practical use cases into production
- Help the business understand where AI adds leverage and where it doesn’t

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
