Description
We’re looking for an Application Support Analyst to join our dedicated Business Central team. You will support Business Central across a complex environment of 350 users, 10+ companies, and 20+ legal entities - helping colleagues resolve issues, understand processes, and keep daily operations running smoothly.
This is a support focused role with meaningful functional depth. It’s ideal for someone with solid Business Central experience who wants to continue developing their expertise and gradually grow into functional consultancy or AL development.
Reporting to the Dynamics Technical Lead, you will work alongside our existing Functional Consultant. The role operates on a hybrid basis, with three days in the office and two days working from home.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for Business Central queries, issues, and requests.
- Troubleshoot functional issues across finance, purchasing, sales, inventory, warehousing, and intercompany processes.
- Perform structured investigation: reproducing issues, identifying root causes, validating configuration, and advising users.
- Maintain and manage user access, roles, and permission sets safely and consistently.
- Clearly explain system behaviour and guide users through correct processes.
- Maintain knowledge articles and documentation for recurring issues.
- Escalate appropriately to the Technical Lead or partners when deeper changes, defects, or code-level investigations are required.
- Collaborate with business teams to improve processes where system issues overlap with operational practice.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
