About The Role…
We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst to support and improve the way Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is used across a growing engineering services group.
Ipsum is an acquisitive business, meaning we frequently integrate entities with different systems, processes, and workflows. Whilst some differences may be valid, others may stem from historic local practices rather than universally optimal approaches. This role involves:
- Understanding these differences
- Defining the right future-state processes
- Ensuring Business Central changes are thoroughly assessed before entering development
Working closely with the Functional Lead, the Development team, and various business stakeholders, you will act as the key liaison between operational and technical teams. Your responsibilities include:
- Ensuring requests meet clear understanding, are properly governed, and align with group-wide processes where feasible
- Contributing to process consistency, change governance, user adoption, and delivery quality across multiple entities

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
