Business Change Consultant | National Security | Cheltenham | Competitive Salary + Benefits
Are you tired of joining a consultancy that already has all the answers? Frustrated by rigid processes you had no hand in building? Ready to actually shape the way delivery works — rather than just follow it?
We're working with a number of leading management consultancies expanding their national security practices in Cheltenham. These are not typical consulting roles — they offer genuine autonomy, real client influence, and the opportunity to work on some of the UK's most complex and high-impact programmes.
The Role
You'll work embedded within national security and public sector programmes, supporting clients through complex business change — from strategy and discovery through to delivery. The work varies by project, but all roles sit within collaborative, high-performing teams where your contribution is visible and valued.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
