Business Change Lead – Energy Market Transformation (Inside IR35)
Location: London (Hybrid – 1 day per week onsite)
Contract Type: Contract (Inside IR35)
Duration: 6 months rolling
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Business Change Lead to support a major energy market transformation programme within a leading energy company.
This role focuses on driving business readiness and adoption of new operating models, processes, and digital capabilities across the electricity and flexibility markets, including demand-side response and distributed energy resources.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead business change and adoption activities across a complex transformation programme
- Develop and deliver change strategies, impact assessments, and stakeholder engagement plans
- Ensure business readiness for new processes, systems, and market frameworks
- Work closely with product, delivery, and BA teams to embed change effectively
- Design and deliver communications, training, and adoption approaches
- Support transition to new operating models and ways of working
- Monitor adoption, benefits realisation, and business outcomes

Experience Required
- Strong experience in business change / transformation roles
- Ideally you will have experience in organisational design
- MUST have experience within the UK energy market (e.g. electricity markets, flexibility services, regulatory environments)
- Proven ability to drive adoption in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
