Please note that this is a contract role providing services to Microsoft through external staffing partners of Allegis Global Solutions (AGS). If you are selected for this role, you will be employed by AGS and will not be an employee of Microsoft.

Summary

Microsoft AI for Science is a global research initiative dedicated to transforming scientific discovery through large-scale deep learning. Our mission is to pioneer the “fifth paradigm” of science by combining AI with natural sciences to address pressing challenges such as climate change, sustainable materials, and drug discovery.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, action-oriented, and highly organized Business Co-Ordinator to provide exceptional business and program support to our team.

This role supports senior leads and their teams, as well as contributions to the co-ordination of our program efforts. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, initiative, sound judgement, and the ability to maintain confidentiality while managing multiple priorities.

Key Responsibilities

Manage complex calendars for senior stakeholders Coordinate travel bookings and expense submissions Plan and execute: Internal meetings Off-sites and team events Social and celebration events Handle meeting logistics: Room bookings RSVPs Catering Agenda preparation Minutes and action tracking Maintain and update team distribution lists Coordinate visitor sessions and lectures Ensure policy and compliance adherence Provide backup support for other admins Collaborate with support teams across locations Support external engagements (talks, workshops, research partners) Handle procurement workflows (data/software approvals and vendors) Must-Have Skills

Location: Hybrid (60% Onsite. Cambridge, UK) Duration: 1 year Shift Timings: Monday – Friday (Business Hours) Pay Range: £127 - £140 /day (PAYE) Weekly Schedule: 40 hours
