Looking for more autonomy? More flexibility? And a lender that genuinely wants to say "yes"? If you're frustrated by the red tape, restrictive credit appetite and bureaucracy of a mainstream bank, this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for.

We're recruiting for a Business / Commercial Banking Relationship Director to join a highly respected, well-capitalised specialist lender with a genuine purpose - helping SMEs access the funding they need to grow, invest and create jobs. For almost 40 years they've been supporting businesses that traditional lenders often overlook, providing tailored lending solutions of up to £250,000 and making a real economic impact in the communities they serve.

Why this role?

  • 🏡 Home-based with the autonomy to manage your own diary
  • 💼 Build and manage your own portfolio, generating opportunities through brokers, introducers and your professional network
  • ⚡ Less red tape, more lending – join a lender whose appetite to support SMEs is part of its DNA
  • 🤝 Interesting, bespoke lending opportunities where every proposition is assessed on its own merits, not simply by policy
  • 💷 Join a well-capitalised, ambitious lender with the funding and flexibility to support growing UK businesses
  • ❤️ Make a genuine difference by helping the SMEs that are the backbone of the UK economy access the finance they need to thrive

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
