Business Consultant Role at Objectway
Objectway is seeking a Business Consultant to join a small, dedicated team supporting regional wealth management firms utilizing our multi-component SaaS platform, Wealth in One. This platform integrates several of Objectway's core components, including back-office (clearing, settlement, custody), front-office (portfolio and order management), document management, client web portal access, and, for some clients, CRM functionality.
You will gain a strong understanding of all platform components and their interactions, contributing to both client onboarding and ongoing support - though the role does not require deep specialization in any single component.
Main Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the role encompass those of the Wealth in One team, namely:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their business needs, and ensuring satisfaction with the software solutions provided.
- Be suitably experienced in understanding new, and enhancements to existing, business requirements and also provide consultancy services for the implementation of new functionality.
- Need to be experienced in examining and analysing functional issues and be able to discuss, explain, and implement changes to existing business models.
- Oversee the deployment and configuration of wealth management software, ensuring that it integrates well with existing systems and processes.
- Work with technical teams or independently to configure the software to match client requirements, including user roles, permissions, and specific functionalities for front-office users.
- Provide post-implementation support to resolve any technical or functional issues and ensure the system operates smoothly for front-office users.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
