About Us
Blackmont Consulting is a student-run consulting organization, established in 2020, created to connect students with the professional world.
At Blackmont, we implement rigorous analysis to help firms and organisations achieve practical results with real impact. Our varied group hail from all corners of the globe and give all-encompassing, significant, and basic counsel to ace all stages from conception to scaling. We are uncompromising in our approach to helping clients consistently make better decisions, deliver improved business performance, and create greater shareholders returns.
As a member of our consulting team, you’ll take part on cases that reshape business, government, and society. You’ll collaborate on challenging assigned projects with multidisciplinary team members and contribute to research, analysis, and client deliverables - increasing your understanding of complex business problems from diverse perspectives and developing new skills and experience to help you at every stage of your career - at Blackmont and beyond.

Key Duties
Consultants will be working in teams of 6-8 to tackle real-world business problems over the course of the project.
- Market trends predictions and suggestions.
- Develop solutions for complex client situations to ensure meeting of goals and objectives and deliver results on time.
- Development of primary research sources among industry contacts and customers, suppliers, and competitors of the companies you are researching.
- Understand sector, currency, political, and regulatory risks where applicable.
- Financial analysis and modelling of companies under your coverage.
- Analyzing financial performance, returns on capital and valuation.
- Determine, develop, and deliver innovative strategies and tools to target new and current clients.
- Take charge of identifying information sources, gathering and interpreting data, executing analysis, and presenting findings to case team members and client stakeholders.

Requirements
- Be through your first, second or last year at university. Master’s and PhD students are also accepted.
- Ability to commit to this position for a minimum of three months.

This program is non-remunerated and if selected you will need to become a Blackmont member to support the organization maintenance through our website.
Please note that the membership is allocated to cover the website, software programs and the courses and training we give at Blackmont. We are a non-profit organization, and we don’t charge our clients, but we do have costs to cover.
The Program
We are always looking for bright people who can help us provide outstanding business solutions to our clients. Previous working experience is advantageous but not essential. The program is self-paced and is carried online.
