Blackmont Consulting Cambridge Branch is a student-led consultancy located in the academic center of Cambridge, connecting university talent with real-world organizational challenges. The branch focuses on pro bono consulting services for NGOs, nonprofits, and startups, supporting mission-driven organizations that may face financial constraints.
Teams of undergraduate and postgraduate consultants work across diverse academic disciplines to deliver innovative, practical solutions. The branch emphasizes mentorship, hands-on project experience, and leadership development to help students build consulting and professional skills.

Role Description
Business Consulting Interns will support client projects by conducting research, analyzing data, and contributing to problem-solving frameworks. Interns will help prepare client deliverables such as presentations, reports, and strategic recommendations, and may participate in virtual client meetings to capture requirements and present findings.

Daily activities include collaborating with project teams, coordinating tasks, and documenting project progress to ensure timely completion of milestones.
This is a full-time remote role, requiring consistent communication and proactive engagement with team members and supervisors. Interns will also be encouraged to take part in learning sessions and mentorship opportunities to strengthen consulting skills and industry awareness.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret data, evaluate options, and support evidence-based recommendations.
- Candidates should possess Consulting and Management Consulting skills to structure problems, contribute to strategy, and work effectively on client projects.
- Candidates should possess Communication skills to convey ideas clearly, create professional documents, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess Finance skills to understand basic financial concepts, support financial analyses, and contribute to business model assessments.
- Candidates should demonstrate teamwork, time management, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Candidates with familiarity in nonprofit, NGO, or startup ecosystems, and an interest in social impact, are highly encouraged to apply.
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of an undergraduate or postgraduate program in business, economics, social sciences, or related fields is beneficial.

Role Details
- 📍 Location: Remote
- Commitment: 5–6 hours per week
- Eligibility: Current students or recent graduates
