At DP World

At DP World, we are transforming global trade by creating smarter, more efficient supply chains. We're looking for a Financial Business Controller to strengthen our Finance & Controlling team in Debrecen, Hungary.

In this role, you'll partner closely with Operations and Finance to provide meaningful financial insights, support business performance, and drive operational excellence at our Debrecen site supporting our customer, BMW.

What You'll Be Doing

As our Financial Business Controller, you will:

  • Prepare monthly financial and business reports for the business unit
  • Analyze financial performance, budget variances and forecasts
  • Present Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs) to key stakeholders
  • Monitor and analyze operational KPIs, including Eagle and GAP analysis
  • Partner with Operations and Regional Accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting
  • Support Business Unit Managers by reviewing financial performance and identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Participate in annual budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Assist with year-end statutory reporting
  • Support ad hoc financial analysis and business projects as required

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Finance or Controlling
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Excellent communication skills in both Hungarian and English
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong business acumen with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet reporting deadlines

Nice To Have
