Role Title: Business Data Analyst

Division: Rathbones Asset Management

Location: London

Contract: Permanent

Working pattern: Hybrid

About the Role

Data is at the heart of every great investment decision. As Rathbones Asset Management continues to grow, we're investing in our data capabilities to unlock deeper insights, improve efficiency and support smarter decision-making across the business. This offers a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of that journey.

Joining our Business Data Management Office, you'll help drive our data strategy while transforming the way information is captured, analysed and shared. What you’ll be responsible for

  • Take ownership of the automation/streamlining of the existing manual process using Group strategic tools such as Alteryx, MS Power Apps suite, Snowflake(SQL) and Aperture Data Studio.
  • Data analysis and visualisation to allow for better understanding of data in areas such as Operations, Fund Accounting, Product, RFI, Risk, Performance & Front Office
  • Preparing/contributing to reports for various oversight processes and committees
  • Working with 3rd party service providers to integrate RAM Snowflake into their toolset
  • Support the process of defining data governance around RAM Foundational Data Domains
  • Involvement in the implementation of new self-service dashboards (PowerBI)
  • Participation in team meetings and Steering Committees
  • Production and maintenance of process documents
  • Maintaining records/action points from meetings

About you

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
