Role: Business Data Analyst

Location: We offer Choice-Based Working, giving you the flexibility to work from anywhere in the UK. You'll also have access to our Konica Minolta and Regus offices nationwide, with occasional travel as the business requires.

Join Us as a Business Data Analyst

As our next Business Data Analyst, you will transform data into meaningful, actionable insights that drive informed business decisions and improve performance. This role involves collecting, cleaning, and analysing data to identify trends and opportunities, while partnering closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into analytical solutions. It also focuses on delivering clear reporting and visualisations, building and automating scalable data processes, and ensuring high standards of data quality, governance, and integrity.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Data Analysis & Insights

  • Collect, clean, validate, and analyse data from multiple sources
  • Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities to support strategic and operational decisions
  • Produce clear, actionable insights tailored to business needs
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis to support key initiatives and performance tracking

Business Partnering

  • Act as a trusted data partner to stakeholders across the business
  • Proactively engage with teams to understand objectives, challenges, and data requirements
  • Translate business questions into analytical approaches and solutions
  • Present insights in a clear, concise manner to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Support decision-making by recommending data-driven actions

Reporting & Visualisation

  • Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports using BI tools
  • Ensure reports are intuitive, accurate, and aligned to business KPIs
  • Continuously evolve reporting to meet changing business needs

Automation & Continuous Improvement

  • Automate recurring reports, data pipelines, and manual processes where possible
  • Improve efficiency and scalability of analytics through scripting and tooling
  • Identify opportunities to streamline data flows and reduce manual effort
  • Maintain documentation for automated processes and reporting solutions

Data Quality & Governance

  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data outputs
  • Adhere to data governance, security, and compliance standards
  • Support best practices in data management and documentation

We'd Love to Hear from You If You:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced SQL skills for data extraction and transformation
  • Experience with BI and data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)
  • Strong Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, data modelling)
  • Proven ability to partner with stakeholders and understand business needs
  • Experience automating reports or analytical processes
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Experience with Python for data analysis and automation
