About AstraZeneca

AstraZeneca is a global, science-led, patient-focused biopharmaceutical company specialising in the discovery, development, and commercialisation of prescription medicines for some of the world’s most serious diseases. However, our mission extends beyond traditional pharmaceutical operations.

In a period of significant growth, our employees share a united purpose: to make a measurable difference to patients worldwide through innovative medicine and scientific progress. The combination of our ambition, scale, and technological advancements has driven Axial, a large-scale transformation programme led by a new Enterprise Resource Planning system, powered by S/4HANA.

This Programme will redefine our operating model—connecting every link from bench to patient. Thousands of employees will rely on this digital platform, making it a critical infrastructure for core business processes. Axial is a once-in-a-generation initiative that will shape AstraZeneca globally.

After a rigorous global design and build phase, the organisation is now at the deployment stage. We are seeking a Business Data & Process Lead to partner with the Axial programme, working alongside GPPM (Global Programme & Portfolio Management), Finance, and Data Platform teams.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
