Key Account Manager (f/m/d)
You will build and maintain relationships with select global banks and global financial institutions.
In this exciting and fast-paced role, you will collaborate closely with members of the Global Banks team, located across major financial hubs worldwide, as well as with local sales teams.
The successful candidate should have an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to work independently, combined with a strong team-player attitude.
This position is based in London, although Paris and Frankfurt are also available as location options.
What You Will Do
- Promote AllianzGI's investment offerings to global banks and global financial intermediaries.
- Be responsible for defining and contributing to AllianzGI's key account vision and strategy.
- Manage due diligence meetings and promote, organize, and participate in local, regional, and global sales meetings and conferences, ensuring the highest possible exposure for AllianzGI.
- Establish strategic meetings with key partner firms to review targeted business initiatives, and work closely with EMEA and APAC business development teams to coordinate and align messaging and coverage of global banking clients.
- Identify and coordinate sales campaign opportunities at global banks, and collaborate closely with marketing on pre- and post-campaign execution.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (Portfolio Management, Product Specialists, Product, Marketing, etc.) to deliver a seamless client experience.
What You Bring
- University degree or equivalent, professional certifications (CFA, CAIA, etc.) are beneficial
- Ideally at least 10 years of professional sales experience in asset management, private banking, advisory or similar roles
- Successful sales record with strong capabilities in presenting/positioning investment products/strategies to professional investors
- Proficiency in English is required, further languages (German, Italian, French) are beneficial
- Client-focused and solution-oriented personality with strong ability to work across different cultures and within a global (virtual) team
- A results-oriented candidate with ability to work independently
- Experience with Microsoft CoPilot
