About Ramp
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $200B in annualized spend flows in and out of 70,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.
We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.
The median Ramp customer saves 5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.
If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
About The Role
As one of the first members of the Business Development team in our London office, you will be focused on building Ramp’s presence in the European market. In this high-velocity, high-impact role, you’ll hunt sales opportunities and quickly qualify, prioritize, and convert expressed interest into high-quality pipeline. Strong execution is critical, but so is strategic thinking.
Our sales organization is looking for someone who is self-motivated and has a natural inclination for selling – a builder who can perform in ambiguity. As part of our early-stage team, you’ll act as the initial point of contact in prospecting and qualifying leads, and help design qualification frameworks that will scale with the team. If you’re eager to learn, embrace challenges and are passionate about playing a key role in defining Ramp’s presence in Europe and accelerating growth in this new market, this role is for you.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
