Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Development Analyst with a focus on revenue optimization and the integration of new business assets. Reporting to the Head of Business Development and Go to Market, this role plays a critical part in commercializing new business initiatives. The ideal candidate will have the ability to extract actionable insights from internal tools and marketing intelligence, draw clear conclusions, and effectively communicate findings to internal stakeholders to help drive new commercial opportunities. In addition to analytical responsibilities, this role will also involve coordinating cross-functional, large-scale projects—both internally across departments and externally with partners ensuring alignment, execution, and impact. We are looking for a motivated, results-driven early-career professional ready to take the next step in a strategic and high-impact business unit at Sportradar.

Please note: this is a 12-month fixed-term contract covering a period of maternity leave.

THE CHALLENGE

  • Oversee the commercial integration of new business, i.e., wholistic strategic projects, specific content assets, or products into our existing commercial structure
  • Support the development and execution of sales strategies, ensuring alignment with global market trends and company goals to drive sustainable revenue growth. Help provide guidance on selecting the most suitable business model based on specific opportunities and market conditions
  • Enhance Analytical Sales Processes and Strategic Opportunities: Help proactively drive the adoption of analytical sales processes, leverage Business Intelligence data to identify and recommend potential upsell, cross-sell, and bundling opportunities. Support initiatives to improve data quality in collaboration with the Sales Operations and Data Office teams
  • Develop Business Plans and Revenue Models: Support the creation of comprehensive business plans for new content and products, incorporating direct revenues, secondary revenues, halo effects. Collaborating with the Content and Product teams, as well as the Data Office
  • Provide actionable advice and tailored solutions to optimize sales outcomes: Create a Value Creation-Based Proposal Structure, develop a value-creation-focused proposal structure for Sportradar customers to effectively demonstrate the benefits of the company’s offerings
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Help foster close collaboration with internal teams, including sales, marketing, finance, legal, and operations, to ensure business development efforts are aligned with the company’s broader objectives and strategic goals

YOUR PROFILE

  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, Sports Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Preferably experience in financial analysis, reporting, or data analytics
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and present findings clearly
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent English, any other European Language knowledge is a plus
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel), Power BI is a plus
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
  • Hands-on ability

Additional Information

The minimum monthly salary for this position is according to the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Overpayment will be considered depending on qualifications and working experience.
