Business Development and Account Manager – UK and Ireland
Account & Sales Manager – Scandinavian Design Portfolio (London, UK/IR)

String Furniture, Grythyttan Stålmöbler, and Kasthall are joining forces to accelerate growth in the region. These Swedish brands embody the enduring values of Nordic design: timeless aesthetics, exceptional craftsmanship, innovation, and enduring quality.
We are seeking a commercially driven Account & Sales Manager to represent our trio of brands across both Home and Contract sectors and drive our European expansion in the fastest-growing furniture markets.
This opportunity
Based in London, with close collaboration across international teams in Sweden and Europe, you’ll play a pivotal role in:
- Driving commercial growth in the UK & Ireland.
- Building strategic partnerships with retailers, contractors, architects, and interior designers.
- Expanding the reach of three of Scandinavia’s most recognised design brands.
You’ll thrive where relationship-building, passion for design, and commercial insight come together.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth and execute strategic business plans across the UK & Ireland.
- Foster enduring relationships with retailers, dealers, architects, interior designers, and key stakeholders.
- Grow existing accounts while identifying new opportunities in Home and Contract sectors.
- Support retail partners in achieving sales targets through training, business development, and customer engagement.
- Represent the brands as influencers in design, architectural, and furniture communities.
- Collaborate with diffuse marketing, product teams, and communication partners for market initiatives.
- Conduct presentations, training sessions, and product launches to strengthen client engagement.
- Monitor market trends, competition, and customer needs, delivering actionable insights.
- Act as a dedicated ambassador for String Furniture, Grythyttan Stålmöbler, and Kasthall.

What You Bring
✅ Experience (3–5 years) in premium furniture, interiors, design, or related industries. ✅ Commercial acumen – track record of driving sales growth and fostering strong client relationships. ✅ Strong communicator – confident in negotiation, presentations, and stakeholder engagement. ✅ Passion for design – an appreciation for craftsmanship, architecture, and Nordic heritage. ✅ Driven and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple accounts, brands, and priorities. ✅ Open to international collaboration and frequent travel within the UK/Ireland. ✅ Preferable: hands-on experience with architects, designers, dealers, or commercial projects.
