The role
Royal High School Bath, GDST is a vibrant, forward-thinking day and boarding school for girls aged 9–18 - a place where every girl is known, valued, and empowered to thrive. As Business Development and Partnership Manager, you will be a trusted professional partner, responsible for developing new commercial opportunities, strengthening existing relationships, and supporting the school’s wider partnership and community engagement objectives. Working closely with senior leaders and colleagues across the school, you will help maximize opportunities that enhance the school’s reputation, resources, and connections within the local community and beyond.
This is a varied and rewarding role where you will combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery. From identifying new partnership opportunities and managing relationships with external organizations, to overseeing contracts, supporting commercial activity, and ensuring effective operational delivery, you will play a key role in helping Royal High achieve its ambitions.

The successful candidate will be proactive, commercially aware, and confident in building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. They will enjoy working collaboratively, managing multiple priorities, and delivering high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
About You
You will bring proven experience in business development, partnership management, commercial activity, lettings, or a similar relationship-focused role. You will have strong commercial awareness and the ability to identify opportunities, develop proposals, and deliver successful outcomes.
You will have excellent communication and relationship management skills, with the confidence to work with senior leaders, external partners, and community stakeholders. You will be organized, detail-focused, and comfortable managing contracts, budgets, and operational arrangements.
Experience of working within an education, community, or values-led organization would be advantageous. An understanding of safeguarding responsibilities and the importance of maintaining high standards when working with young people and external partners is essential.
Above all, you will be a proactive and enthusiastic ambassador for Royal High, committed to building relationships and creating opportunities that support our community and the experience of our students.
