The Role – Business Development Associate
Interactive Brokers (UK) Limited invites applicants to join as a Business Development Associate, playing a key role in:
- Onboarding & integration for Institutional and HNW clients
- Identifying new business opportunities
- Channelling strategic growth initiatives through leadership review

The role operates under a hybrid working model: 4 days per week at our central London office (The Walkie Talkie Building), where: ✅ Free lunch daily (from vendor selection) ✅ Home-based flexibility
Key Responsibilities

Onboarding & Client Engagement:
- Guide Institutional Clients and High Net Worth Individuals through the application process, serving as their primary point of contact.
- Develop expertise in IBKR’s product suite (futures, options, equities) to confidently communicate with clients.

Product & Solutions Implementation:
- Conduct virtual and in-person platform demonstrations.
- Drive integration projects for B2B clients, coordinating across legal, operations, technology, and client services teams.

Strategic Partnership Growth:
- Oversee high-growth partnerships, identifying opportunities to foster deeper collaboration.

Engagement & Presentation:
- Participate in client meetings, presentations, and industry events.

Flexible Contributions:
- Support ad-hoc projects as needed.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education & Background
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
Languages
- Fluent English (spoken & written)
- Bonus familiarity with Norwegian, Swedish, or Polish.
Technical & Business Knowledge
- Strong grasp of futures, options, equities, and derivatives markets.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally for business impact.

Preferences (Not Mandatory)
- 2+ years of experience in financial services (brokerage, trading, client services).
- Bloomberg knowledge as a plus.
- MS Office proficiency.
Location & Hours
📍 20 Fenchurch Street, London, EC3M 3BY 🕒 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Monday to Friday
