The Opportunity
This isn't a typical sales role.
We're looking for entrepreneurial Business Development Associates who are excited by the opportunity to help build a growing AI company with ambitious long-term plans.
You'll work directly with the founders and senior leadership team, introducing businesses to innovative AI and technology solutions while helping shape the commercial direction of the company.
You'll have genuine influence within the business, significant autonomy and the opportunity to grow into leadership as Lycerix expands.

- Have proven B2B business development or sales experience.
- Be confident engaging with business owners, directors and senior decision-makers.
- Have an established professional network and the ability to generate referrals and introductions.
- Be proactive, organised and highly self-motivated.
- Enjoy opening doors, building relationships and creating opportunities.
- Be excited by the challenge of helping grow an ambitious company.
- Be comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with the wider team.
- Have a genuine interest in technology, Artificial Intelligence and business innovation.

Key Responsibilities
As a Business Development Associate, you'll play a central role in Lycerix's continued growth.
You'll be responsible for:
- Generating new business opportunities through networking, referrals and outbound prospecting.
- Building relationships with business owners and senior decision-makers.
- Arranging and attending discovery meetings.
- Developing strategic referral partnerships.
- Managing your own sales pipeline and maintaining accurate CRM records.
- Working closely with the leadership team to identify new commercial opportunities.
- Providing market insight and customer feedback to help shape future products and services.
- Representing Lycerix professionally and ethically at all times.
Support You'll Receive
Although we're looking for self-starters, we believe successful salespeople should have the support they need to succeed.
You'll receive:
- Direct access to the founders and senior leadership team.
- Product and service training.
- Sales coaching and ongoing guidance.
- Marketing materials and sales collateral.
- Technical support during client meetings where required.
- Proposal writing assistance.
- Collaboration with experienced software, AI and delivery teams.

Commission & Career Progression
This position is commission-only during our current stage of growth.

Successful Business Development Associates will receive:
- Up to 15% commission on every sale they personally generate.
- Ongoing commission opportunities on qualifying recurring subscription services.
- Performance bonuses as the company grows.
- Uncapped earning potential.
- Direct involvement in the commercial growth of a rapidly expanding AI company.
Following the consistent achievement or exceeding of agreed monthly sales targets for three consecutive months, high-performing Business Development Executives may be offered the opportunity to transition onto a salaried position in addition to their existing commission structure, subject to business requirements and mutual agreement.
As Lycerix continues to expand, there will also be opportunities to progress into Senior Business Development, Team Leadership and Sales Management roles.
