Summary:

The Business Development Representative (BDR) plays a pivotal role in driving the growth and sustainability of Rising SheFarms Food by identifying new market opportunities, cultivating strategic partnerships, and expanding revenue streams. Acting as a key external liaison, the BDR fosters relationships with stakeholders, partners, and community organizations while representing the company at industry events and networking forums. This role demands a proactive, results-driven professional with strong analytical, communication, and strategic planning skills to support the company’s mission and long-term success.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging markets, evolving customer needs, competitive landscapes, and growth opportunities.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to enter new markets and increase market share.
  • Generate qualified leads by identifying potential partnerships, business collaborations, and innovative revenue streams.
  • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders, including partners, suppliers, and community organizations.
  • Represent Rising SheFarms Food at industry events, trade shows, conferences, and networking engagements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to set and achieve measurable growth and revenue targets.
  • Create and implement business plans aligned with the company’s mission, vision, and strategic goals.
  • Design and execute long-term strategies to ensure sustainable business expansion and market leadership.
  • Deliver regular reports and actionable insights to leadership on progress, challenges, and emerging opportunities.
  • Forecast sales performance and growth potential to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly activity reports detailing business development efforts and outcomes.
  • Analyze sales data, customer feedback, and market trends to continuously refine and optimize strategies.
  • Partner closely with internal teams to ensure alignment between business development initiatives and operational capabilities.
  • Contribute actively to team brainstorming, planning sessions, and innovation workshops.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to enhance product offerings, market positioning, and customer engagement.
