Business Development Opportunity | Bridging Finance | Internal & Field-Based Career Paths
Are you currently working within bridging finance, specialist lending or property finance and looking for a Business Development opportunity where you can accelerate your career?
We've partnered with a growing specialist lender that is expanding its Business Development team and is open to candidates at different stages of their sales career. Whether you're an experienced broker, lending professional or Telephone BDM looking to move into a commercially focused role, or you already have some Business Development experience and want greater client exposure, there is a clear pathway available.
About the Company
A well-established specialist lender operating across the UK bridging and real estate finance market. Renowned for speed of execution, flexible underwriting and outstanding broker service, the business continues to invest heavily in its people, technology and growth strategy.
The Role
The Business Development team plays a key role in developing broker relationships, generating new opportunities and supporting deals from enquiry through to completion.
Depending on your experience level, responsibilities may include:
- Building and maintaining relationships with brokers, introducers and intermediary partners
- Generating new business opportunities through proactive outreach and relationship development
- Qualifying bridging and real estate finance enquiries
- Supporting brokers throughout the application and completion process
- Issuing terms and helping structure viable lending solutions
- Managing and developing a healthy sales pipeline
- Working closely with senior Business Development professionals
- Providing exceptional service and market insight to intermediary partners
- Representing the business both internally and externally as your career develops

For candidates with previous Business Development experience, there will be opportunities to develop broker relationships in person and progress into a more field-focused position.

Who We're Looking For

- Bridging finance, Specialist lending, Property finance, Real estate finance
- Telephone Business Development, Business Development Executive or Business Development Manager
- Underwriting support or lending support environments
- Property sales or related financial services sales roles
Attributes:
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Commercial awareness and a proactive approach
- Confidence engaging with brokers and intermediary partners
- Good understanding of property or specialist finance markets
- A target-driven mindset
- Strong organisational and pipeline management skills
- Motivation to develop a long-term career within Business Development
