Business Development Center Representative
Career Development Manager / Global Head – European Green Data Center & AI Energy Park Development
Role Overview
This is a core overseas business development position, specialising in European green data center and AI computing power park projects. The ideal candidate will drive full-cycle project development, including:
- Land acquisition across the UK, Spain, and Germany
- Stakeholder relationship management (government, energy providers, tech partners)
- Policy approvals, grid coordination, and low-carbon energy integration
- Optimising data center PUE (Power Usage Effectiveness) and renewable energy utilisation
- Collaboration with global cloud vendors, IDC operators, and AI computing enterprises
The role demands cross-cultural business acumen, leveraging local industry resources to support the company’s rapid expansion in Europe’s smart energy and computing infrastructure market.
Key Responsibilities
1. Full-Cycle Overseas Data Center Project Development
- Oversee end-to-end development, planning, execution, and delivery of green data center projects in key European markets.
- Formulate phased implementation plans, track milestones, and mitigate schedule bottlenecks to ensure steady and efficient progress.
- Align projects with local EU energy policies, carbon neutrality regulations, and sustainable development standards.
2. Local Core Resource Acquisition & Integrated Coordination
- Independently acquire and coordinate critical project resources, including:
- Land resources
- Government planning approvals
- Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA)
- Carbon emission evaluations
- Power consumption quotas
- Grid access permissions
- Renewable energy matching indicators
- Strictly comply with local EU energy compliance frameworks and environmental regulations.

3. Multi-Stakeholder Relationship Management
- Build and sustain deep partnerships with:
- Municipal government bureaus
- Energy regulators
- Grid operators
- Land management agencies
- Environmental agencies
- Maintain ongoing communication with:
- Data center owners
- IDC operators
- Telecom carriers
- AI computing enterprises
- EPC contractors
- Energy suppliers
- Expand high-quality industry networks for long-term collaborations.
4. Customer-Driven New Energy Solution Delivery
- Adopt customer-centric business thinking to identify and address key demands from:
- Cloud vendors
- AI computing clients
- IDC operators
- Develop tailored green power solutions, including:
- Energy storage
- Photovoltaic (solar) integration
- Prioritise optimisation of PUE (Power Usage Efficiency), carbon intensity, and renewable energy adoption to meet sustainability goals.
Key Requirements
1. Academic Background & Industry Expertise

Bachelor’s degree or higher in:
- Electrical Engineering
- Energy System & Management
- Computer Science
- Data Center Infrastructure
- Civil Engineering
- New Energy Power Generation
- (or related fields)

Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in:
- Full-cycle data centre project development (development, investment, construction, or operations)
- OR renewable energy ground power station/energy storage projects

Strong industry knowledge of:
- European ** IdiQ market trends**
- AI computing power demand
- Renewable energy regulations
2. Local Industrial Resource Accumulation
- Mature network in European markets, including:
- Government planning bureaus
- Energy regulatory agencies
- Power grid companies
- Expertise in:
- European green data centre approval workflows
- Site selection, land acquisition, and policy compliance processes
- Priority Given To: Candidates with existing partnerships with:
- Top cloud vendors (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
- Global IDC operators (Equinix, Telehouse, NTT, etc.)
- Telecom carriers and AI infrastructure providers

3. Technical & Professional Competence
- Full knowledge of large-scale data centre project stages, including:
- Site selection
- Land acquisition
- Feasibility study reporting
- Bidding & procurement
- Construction permits & grid approvals
- Proficiency in:
- PUE optimisation strategies
- Low-carbon energy solutions
- Energy-efficient data centre operations
- Cross-department collaboration skills to streamline project execution
- Risk management expertise covering:
- Policy and regulatory compliance
- Power grid availability
- Land acquisition challenges
4. Cross-Cultural Communication & Language Proficiency
- Fluent business English for negotiations, technical discussions, and documentation.
- Spanish / German proficiency (spoken/written) is a significant advantage.
- Experience navigating European business negotiation etiquettes and international marketplace dynamics.
- Ability to coordinate diverse global teams and communicate effectively with international clients.
