Business Development & Commercial Director — PURE

We are seeking a commercially driven leader to drive client acquisition and project growth. Compensation is performance-based, aligned directly with revenue generated from new clients and delivered projects.
Your Purpose
To lead PURE’s commercial growth and market expansion. You will shape offerings, unlock new revenue streams and accelerate client adoption of purpose-driven transformation. You will position PURE as a trusted partner for organisations seeking to move from sustainability ambition to measurable performance and competitive advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and drive PURE’s commercial strategy and go-to-market approach
- Secure new clients at senior and C-suite level and grow long-term revenue pipelines
- Develop compelling propositions that articulate PURE’s value to corporate, SME, public and non-profit sectors
- Create strategic partnerships that amplify reach, visibility and scale
- Lead proposal development, pricing models and deal negotiation
- Represent PURE publicly, promoting our mission and expertise across industry forums and events
- Drive project delivery. Work closely with expert consultants to translate client challenges into impactful, commercially viable solutions
- Capture market intelligence and use insights to evolve services and drive innovation

Candidate Profile
You are a highly credible commercial leader with a strong network and a passion for sustainability. You thrive in entrepreneurial environments and create opportunities that lead to meaningful results.
- Senior business development or strategic partnerships experience ideally within sustainability, transformation, consulting or corporate strategy
- A proven record of winning major clients and delivering revenue growth
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence at board level
- Strategic agility with the confidence to shape and execute growth plans
- Drive and creativity in identifying and converting opportunities
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to build trust quickly
- Ideally a good knowledge about sustainability applied to business, its main themes, challenges and opportunities.
- Experience in consulting is a plus
