Business Development Consultant (Part-Time)

2 days per week | Hybrid | London

Hg2 Content Lab is a boutique content consultancy specialising in the luxury hospitality, travel, and lifestyle sectors. We partner with some of the world's leading names to create strategic content and editorial that strengthen reputation, deepen audience engagement, and support commercial growth.

The Role

We're looking for an experienced Business Development Consultant to help expand our client portfolio and build long-term commercial partnerships. This is a flexible, part-time opportunity for someone who enjoys developing relationships, identifying opportunities, and contributing to the growth of a well-established consultancy.

Working closely with the Managing Director, you'll play a key role in driving the company's commercial growth. You'll identify and develop new business opportunities, build long-term client relationships, and help convert prospects into valued partnerships. This is a highly autonomous role offering the opportunity to shape your approach and make a meaningful impact on the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across the luxury hospitality, travel, and lifestyle sectors.
  • Build relationships with prospective clients and key decision-makers.
  • Generate qualified meetings and develop a healthy sales pipeline.
  • Support the development of proposals, pitches, and commercial opportunities.
  • Represent Hg2 Content Lab at client meetings and industry events.
  • Convert opportunities into long-term client partnerships.

About You

You'll be a confident relationship builder with a commercial mindset and a genuine passion for creating opportunities.

You'll ideally have:

  • Experience in business development, partnerships, or commercial roles.
  • A proven track record of winning new business.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Confidence engaging with senior decision-makers.
  • A proactive, entrepreneurial approach and the ability to work independently.
  • An interest in luxury hospitality, travel, and premium brands.

Experience within hospitality, luxury brands, travel, agencies, or related sectors would be advantageous but isn't essential.
