Nova Talent are delighted to be working alongside our client, a world-leading provider of Communication Solutions. Together we are recruiting a Business Development Coordinator to join the Business Development Team, primarily based in Market Deeping (Hybrid Offering).

This is not your average Business Development role, there are many ‘cogs in wheel’ that need turning to enable each proposition to be delivered to customers accurately and on time. With collaboration and input from internal stakeholders, the Business Development Coordinator’s function crosses into the realms of project management.

A Bit About What You Will Be Doing

  • You will be assigned a geographical region of the world to work alongside the Business Development Manager.
  • Leads will be fed to you via the BDM, whether that be existing customers or new (no cold calling or lead generation expected in the role).
  • To coordinate Business Development support activities for your designated area and customers, working on and achieving within specific deadlines.
  • Proactively prepare quotations, ensuring follow-up and customer communication throughout the process.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of fluctuations in currency / pricing / margins when preparing the quotation.
  • Understand, prepare, and obtain stakeholder approval on pricing strategies for quotation. Ensure that all required approvals are in place for all quotations which are prepared.
  • Produce all supporting documentation associated with the quotations/bids.
  • Log and review all customers orders, to ensure delivery of the agreed terms and quotation have been met.
  • Liaise and collaborate with internal departments to meet customer expectations.
  • Be efficient and effective in responding to customer requirements to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Collate and create BD Team KPI’s for your assigned region.

  • Experience within a BD, Supply Chain, Programme Management function working in high-pressure situations with experience of providing excellent customer service.
  • Able to demonstrate customer relationship building.
  • IT Literate, Intermediate/Advanced within the Microsoft Office Suite of Products, Salesforce, and SharePoint.
  • A strong eye for attention to detail and a clear communicator.
  • Able to manage your time effectively.
  • Professional approach to your work, customers, and colleagues.
  • Able to work calmly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Can support the development of solutions to complex problems of a recurring nature.
  • A natural multitasker.
