About the Role
Are you looking to join a successful and growing organisation—one that prioritises a great, safe work environment and gives employees opportunities to develop? We are seeking a Business Development Coordinator to join our Stockton on Tees-based team.
In this role, you will focus on generating sales opportunities and delivering exceptional customer service to both external and internal clients. Key responsibilities include managing inbound and outbound telephone calls, handling website live chat interactions, and building strong working relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Qualify leads and turn them into potential sales opportunities
- Collaborate with marketing teams on campaigns and with digital teams on website lead generation
- Oversee live chat platforms and respond to incoming customer emails
- Maintain accurate and current customer records in relevant systems
- Present key messages consistently using structured calling briefs and techniques
- Respond to customer service enquiries promptly and professionally
- Develop and nurture cross-departmental working relationships to support commercial goals

Job Details
- Salary: £25,360 per annum (pro rata) + commission
- Base Location: Portrack Lane, Stockton on Tees, TS18 2PA
- Contract Term: Permanent – Full-time (Monday to Friday, 8.30 AM–4.30 PM), office-based
- Annual Leave:
- 25 days (pro rata)
- Bank holidays included
- Option to purchase an additional 5 days (pro rata)

Requirements & Candidate Criteria
We’re looking for candidates with the following strengths:
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or customer-facing roles
- Strong customer service background and relationship-building skills
- Office-based sales experience (preferably preferred)
- Practical IT skills including proficiency with CRMs and internal systems
- A Full UK Driving Licence (desirable)
- Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills
- Ability to rapidly build rapport with clients and colleagues
