Role Description
The Business Development role at Bloc Commercial Interiors is a full-time, on-site position based in Reading. The individual in this role will identify and pursue new business opportunities, build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients, and promote the company’s commercial interior services. The role also involves collaborating with design and project teams to align client needs with service offerings, tracking sales activities, and reporting on pipeline progress. This position requires regular engagement with local businesses and stakeholders to grow brand awareness and drive revenue.
Qualifications
- Strong Analytical Skills and Market Research abilities to understand trends, identify opportunities, and support data-informed decisions.
- Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to engage clients, manage expectations, and build long-term relationships.
- Effective Lead Generation skills to prospect, qualify, and nurture new business opportunities.
- Relevant experience in business development, sales, or account management within interiors, construction, or related industries is beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Reading, manage multiple projects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency with CRM tools, presentation software, and basic office applications is desirable.
- A background in commercial interiors, design, or property-related services, along with a valid right to work in the UK, is an advantage.
