Join Close Brothers Asset Finance, where you will help manage and grow key broker and introducer relationships. Working as part of the Broker Solutions team, our ideal team member will have previous experience putting together new business proposals, conducting in-depth credit assessments, structuring transactions, and preparing compelling credit submissions, often involving a face-to-face meeting with the proposed Borrower.
Experience in large ticket asset finance is essential with transactions typically ranging from £500k to £10m+.
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow key broker and introducer relationships.
- Identify and establish new intermediary partnerships.
- Conduct initial assessments of proposals to determine suitability.
- Undertake customer visits and perform rigorous due diligence.
- Structure and price transactions aligned with risk appetite.
- Prepare and present credit applications to the CBAFL board.
- Oversee documentation negotiation and the pay-out process.
- Maintain a high level of personal organisation and accountability.

WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF:
- You have extensive experience in UK middle-ticket leasing in a senior sales or credit-focused role.
- You can demonstrate an ability to originate and manage business through intermediaries.
- You have a deep understanding of credit risk, pricing, and commission structures.
- You possess strong analytical and credit assessment skills.
- You have a proven ability to structure complex transactions and negotiate legal documentation.
- You have excellent organisational skills with a methodical, detail-oriented approach.
- You have strong interpersonal and board-level negotiation skills.
IT IS NOT ESSENTIAL BUT IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU:
- Have a natural curiosity and a proactive approach to learning and improvement.
- Have creative problem-solving mindset with a focus on delivering workable solutions.
- Are leadership potential and have an ability to influence stakeholders.
- Have experience working in either lessor and/or brokerage environments.
