Our client, a leading global organisation, is currently recruiting for a Business Development Director to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. This role is remote with frequent travel within the UK and Ireland.
Key Duties
- Owning and executing the sales strategy in the UK and Ireland
- Working closely with end customers and channel partners
- Being personally responsible for selling the portfolio of products to achieve sales targets
- Ensuring opportunities are forecasted correctly
- Supporting brand development in partnership with marketing
- Successfully prospecting new sales business and ensuring optimal route to market
- Working closely with product managers to ensure customer requirements are identified
- Travelling to customers throughout the UK and Ireland

Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
- 10+ years in a sales or business development role with a track record of success in a technology environment
- Understanding of the PMR market, TETRA, DMR and associated technologies
- A customer first, can do attitude
- Familiarity with narrow band and broadband technologies
- Experience managing channel partner sales
- Excellent attention to detail
- Experience with CRM systems
- Ability to present at industry events
