The Role
We are seeking a Business Development Director to join our Growth team in London. This is a unique and pivotal leadership role for a commercially astute and creatively-minded individual. Unlike a traditional Account Director focused on managing existing clients, this position is dedicated to driving agency growth by winning new ones. You will be at the forefront of our transformation into an AI-native ideas agency, responsible for leading the strategic and client-facing aspects of new business pitches. This is a role for a natural leader and storyteller who can operate at the intersection of technology, creativity, and commerce, translating complex client challenges into winning strategic and creative solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Pitch & Creative Leadership:
- Lead the strategic and creative narrative for new business pitches, including RFIs and RFPs. You will be responsible for building and refining our story, moving beyond coordination to actively shaping the strategic response.
- Author inspiring creative briefs for pitches, collaborating with strategy and creative leads to translate client needs into compelling starting points for the creative team.
- Act as the strategic client partner during the pitch process, building rapport, understanding their business challenges, and positioning our agency as the ideal integrated partner.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
