Business Development Director (Global KOL Growth)

Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Business Development Director (KOL) to lead our global influencer and Key Opinion Leader (KOL) strategy across the Web3 and crypto ecosystem. This role is responsible for building and scaling overseas KOL channels, leading a high-performing BD team, and driving global user acquisition and trading growth through strategic influencer partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
Global KOL Channel Strategy & Expansion
- Identify, onboard, and manage top and mid-tier blockchain, finance, and trading KOLs, influencers, and community leaders across Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Latin America, Europe, and North America
- Build and continuously expand a high-quality global KOL and influencer network
- Develop a scalable, high-conversion overseas KOL partnership ecosystem
Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Build, lead, and scale the KOL Business Development team
- Define annual, quarterly, and monthly KPIs aligned with growth, acquisition, and conversion targets
- Establish clear SOPs, workflows, performance frameworks, and training systems
- Drive team execution, monitor progress, and continuously improve efficiency and output quality
Campaign Strategy & Execution
- Design and execute tailored overseas KOL marketing strategies based on product positioning, market trends, and regional audience behavior
- Lead collaborations across live streaming, content campaigns, community activations, and integrated marketing initiatives
- Ensure all KOL content and campaigns align with brand positioning and compliance requirements
- Oversee end-to-end execution including content approval, publishing, and campaign performance tracking

Data-Driven Optimisation
- Track and analyze key performance metrics including KOL traffic, engagement, user acquisition, registrations, and trading conversion
- Evaluate campaign ROI and optimize budget allocation and partnership strategies
- Conduct regular performance reviews and competitor analysis to refine KOL strategies and improve conversion efficiency
Relationship Management & Strategic Partnerships
- Build long-term strategic relationships with key KOLs, influencers, and media partners
- Develop exclusive partnerships with top-tier influencers and create benchmark campaigns
- Collaborate with internal marketing, operations, and compliance teams to execute large-scale global campaigns
- Strengthen brand presence and market penetration across international markets
Market Intelligence & Compliance Oversight
- Monitor global crypto regulations, regional policies, and industry trends affecting influencer marketing
- Ensure all KOL activities comply with regulatory and internal compliance standards
- Provide regular market insights and strategic recommendations to support global expansion decisions
Requirements
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or above
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in overseas KOL BD, influencer marketing, or growth roles within Web3 / crypto / blockchain industry
- At least 3+ years of experience in team leadership or management roles (Director or Head)
- Prior experience in top-tier crypto exchanges or leading Web3 financial platforms strongly preferred

- Strong global network of KOLs, influencers, communities, and media partners
- Deep understanding of regional influencer ecosystems, pricing models, and collaboration structures
- Proven ability to scale KOL programs from scratch and deliver measurable growth impact
Language & Communication
- Fluent in English (written and spoken), with the ability to independently handle international negotiations and business communications
- Strong familiarity with major social and content platforms including TikTok, YouTube, X (Twitter), and Telegram
