Business Development Director - Defense and Government Sectors
We are looking for a high-impact Business Development Director to lead our growth within the defense and government sectors in Europe and ROW. This is a role for a closer - someone who possesses the strategic "startup hustle" to navigate emerging tech landscapes and the professional "defense-sector polish" to seal high-stakes defense contracts.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record of securing wins with Defense Organizations and thrives in high-growth, venture-backed environments.
The Mission
As the Director of Business Development, you will be the primary engine for our market expansion. You won’t just be "opening doors" or managing partnerships; you will own the entire lifecycle of the deal—from initial capture and strategic positioning to final contract closing.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
