About the Role
As Business Development Director, you will play a pivotal role in driving the agency’s growth strategy, leading new business efforts and shaping its market presence. Working closely with the Managing Director, Creative Directors, and Marketing team, you will identify opportunities, build meaningful client relationships, and convert prospects into long-term partnerships.
This is a highly visible, strategic role where you will take ownership of the full new business lifecycle, from lead generation through to pitch delivery and closing deals.
Responsibilities
- Developing and executing a robust new business strategy aligned with agency growth ambitions
- Identifying, targeting, and securing new client opportunities across key sectors
- Building and nurturing relationships with senior decision-makers and stakeholders
- Leading RFI/RFP responses, pitch processes, and proposal development in collaboration with creative teams
- Managing and developing the new business pipeline, ensuring consistent reporting and performance tracking
- Supporting client engagement initiatives to strengthen and grow existing relationships
- Working closely with senior leadership on commercial strategy and positioning

Requirements
- Proven experience in a senior business development role within a Branding, Design, or Creative agency
- Strong track record of winning new business and driving revenue growth
- Experience working closely with creative teams in a collaborative agency environment
- Ability to engage and influence C-suite stakeholders and senior decision-makers
- Strategic mindset with strong commercial awareness
- Confident communicator with excellent presentation and storytelling skills
- Entrepreneurial, proactive approach with the ability to work independently
- Experience working with global clients and across varied project scales is advantageous
