This is the job
As Business Development Director Industrials (f/m/x), you take ownership of new business growth across the UK within our industrial focus industries. You’ll identify and acquire new enterprise clients across industries (Mobility, Aviation, Logistics, and Manufacturing).
With a clear new-logo focus, you proactively open doors and build relationships designed to last. You identify high-potential opportunities in competitive, innovation-driven markets and turn initial conversations into sustainable client engagements.
You build and expand trusted relationships with senior decision-makers across industrial client organizations, turning strategic dialogue into long-term partnerships.
You understand the dynamics of the UK industrial landscape — balancing engineering heritage with the urgency of digital acceleration. Where engineering, operational technology, and enterprise IT converge, you recognize opportunities early and position Avenga as a credible and reliable partner.

Working closely with consulting, pre-sales, and delivery teams, you lead complex pursuits end-to-end — from initial executive outreach through negotiation to signed agreement.
This is you
Your experience and approach include:
- A proven track record of winning new business within the Mobility, or Manufacturing sectors in the UK market.
- A solid understanding of how enterprise organizations make strategic investment decisions in innovation-driven environments.
- The ability to engage and influence stakeholders across engineering, operations, IT, product, and executive leadership.
- Experience positioning IT services, digital engineering, or transformation programs within industrial ecosystems.
- Strategic thinking combined with resilience and credibility in navigating demanding market conditions.
- Professional working proficiency in English to operate effectively within the UK market.

This is your role
- Identify and acquire new enterprise clients across Mobility, and Manufacturing in the UK
- Build and continuously develop a qualified pipeline of transformation opportunities
- Lead complex pursuit and proposal processes in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Structure, negotiate, and close sustainable enterprise agreements
- Contribute to predictable and responsible revenue growth within the UK market
- Strengthen Avenga’s long-term presence within the UK industrial landscape
