Role Overview
- Position: Global Market Research Agency
- Location: Fully Remote (UK-Based)
- Salary: £70–100,000 + commission
A fantastic opportunity for a commercially driven, senior business development professional to join a fast-moving, entrepreneurial global market research agency and lead growth in the UK market.
About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced sales professional with a strong track record in selling full-service market research to drive business growth and secure high-value clients. The ideal candidate will thrive on relationship-building, opportunity discovery, and strategic deals, ensuring seamless delivery across the sales cycle—from initial prospecting and engagement to securing commitments.
The role requires a commercial, passionate, and collaborative leader who balances independence with teamwork, consistently committing to performance excellence and professional standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop creative, data-driven propositions tailored to clients' challenges across FMCG, financial services, automotive, media, and tech sectors.
- Proactively pursue new business opportunities, build strong relationships, and close high-value deals.
- Work closely with an insights and operations team to deliver refined, cost-effective, and timely research solutions.
- Shape proposals, negotiate terms, and align client strategies while ensuring value-added outcomes.
- Drive entrepreneurial growth with the opportunity to influence company direction and strategy through data-driven initiatives.

Requirements
- Proven 20+ years of business development experience in the market research and insights sector, preferably in high-end or bespoke research.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and strategic with an ability to operate independently and achieve targets.
- Exceptional client-facing skills, known for establishing trust and delivering exceptional service.
- Results driven with an outstanding sales history and knowledge of modern sales methodologies.
- Digital literacy, adaptability, and global mindset to connect UK clients with global offerings.
- A desire to shape, grow, and take ownership in a fast-paced agency that values initiative and growth potential.
