Business Development Director
Business Development Director đ Location: London (Hybrid: 2 days per week at the London Wall office / Tuesdays and Thursdays)

About the Role
You will take ownership of winning new business and expanding LexisNexis Risk Solutionsâ presence in three Nordic countries: Sweden, Norway, and Iceland. This involves leading complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles, often engaging directly with C-suite executives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, with a focus on new logo acquisition.
- Maintain accurate pipeline forecasts and reporting in Salesforce.
- Conduct regular face-to-face engagements (minimum 10 monthly meetings).
- Apply MEDDPICC and Value Pyramid frameworks to understand customer needs and align solutions effectively.
- Work cross-functionally with Product, Solution Consulting, and Technical teams to close complex deals.
- Develop and execute a strategic territory plan to drive long-term growth.
- Collaborate with market planning, marketing, regulators, and external partners on strategic initiatives.
- Work with account management teams to identify cross-sell opportunities.
- Use tools like Gong and Lusha to optimise propecting, pipeline management, and deal execution.

Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in business development or enterprise solution sales; preference given to candidates with a background in financial crime, fraud, identity, or compliance.
- Fluent English required; additional Nordic language skills would be advantageous.
- Proven ability to exceed ACV targets in a complex, solution-led sales environment.
- Strong expertise in the MEDDPICC framework and experience in managing multi-stakeholder opportunities.
- Prior experience in banking, fintech, or regtech industries.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking skills.
