👋 Hey there! We’re Attensi – a tech company born in Norway with a passion for gamified simulation training. Since 2012, we’ve gone global, and today our solutions are used by some of the world’s biggest brands in 150+ countries and 50+ languages.

We combine gamification, realistic interactive scenarios, and decision-driven dialogues – all powered by our own game AI – to create immersive, hands-on learning experiences. It's a radically new way to deliver high-impact training that scales across large organizations and actually sticks.

We work with some of the world’s largest brands in energy, retail, hospitality, pharma, professional services, and more – including Circle K, The Boston Consulting Group, PwC, Accenture, KPMG, ABB, Zurich, and Novartis. We are currently over 220 Game Changers across Europe and the US.

To support and expand on our international growth, we are currently seeking an energetic and motivated Business Development Director to focus on building our Pharmaceutical sector. This is a key role in our growth and is reflected in both the remuneration and opportunities for growth outlined below.

We are looking for someone smart, analytical, commercial and curious, who is comfortable taking an insight-driven approach to identifying opportunities, building relationships, generating leads, converting them into meetings and communicating Attensi’s unique value proposition. This role would suit someone with a strong track record in new business development, enterprise sales, account management or account direction, particularly where they have worked closely with Pharmaceutical or Medical Devices clients.

Attensi’s products delight existing and prospective customers easily and when we have conversations with the right prospects, we have enviably high closing rates. Our sales processes are moved forward through close collaboration with the customer so that we create value propositions and solutions that address their specific needs and pain points. For a person who enjoys the art of business development through consultative selling and collaboration with large corporations this is a fantastic opportunity to join a rapidly growing company, backed by strong investors and with solutions that make a real, measurable impact.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

We are particularly excited by people who have either sold into, partnered closely with, or managed strategic relationships within Pharmaceutical companies — bonus points if you have covered medical devices too. This could include candidates from a new business background, as well as experienced Account Managers or Account Directors who have built trusted relationships with major pharma clients and can credibly craft bespoke, tailored solutions to meet their needs.

Attensi primarily work with medium and large companies (typically ranging between 1,000 – 100,000 employees). Success in this role will depend on the ability to identify the right prospective clients, initiate conversations and conduct meetings with CxOs and director-level prospects. The role will be based in London and focus on the UK and European markets, but international work will likely form part of the job as we pursue world domination.

You Will Have

  • BSc degree or higher
  • Client-facing Pharmaceutical / medical devices experience, either through new business sales, account management, account direction, or strategic roles within those organisations, e.g. Product Manager
  • Experience building strong and trusting relationships with prospects and clients alike to become a trusted partner at both a professional and personal level
  • At least 5+ years' work experience
  • Experience in establishing relationships with CxOs and Directors of large corporations
  • Experience managing, growing or developing relationships with large Pharmaceutical or Medical Devices clients, whether through new logo acquisition, account growth, or long-term strategic partnerships
  • Previous experience in business development, enterprise sales, strategic account management or account direction is ideal. We are open to candidates who have built and grown relationships with major pharma clients, even if their experience is more account-led than pure new business.

What will you do?

The very first thing you will do once you join Attensi is to get to know our products, values and way of operating. We want you to get under the skin of our business and truly understand the value we provide our customers, so that you can represent us externally with genuine excitement and confidence.

And with that, we have the appreciation and understanding behind operating in a hybrid model, where we are in-person thrice weekly in our London offices near Southwark - or out meeting our clients in person, which we believe is the best way to create meaningful relationships. We work hard but also have a lot of fun. Monthly social activities like Attensi-days, sporting events, after-work drinks, get togethers, game nights and company trips to our Norwegian HQ or elsewhere, are some of the ways in which we ensure we not only work together, but also play together!
