We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Business Development Director, Receivables & Working Capital. The role covers mid-market corporates across Yorkshire and the North-East.

We are one of the largest trade and receivable finance organisations offering a comprehensive range of forward-thinking open account supply chain and traditional trade solutions. We have been recognised by the industry’s most prominent publications and associations for our strength in combining innovation and service excellence with end-to-end customer solutions. Global Trade Solutions serves as a core service provider for commercial customers.

In This Role You’ll

  • Proactively identify and develop new receivables and working capital finance opportunities
  • Assist in establishing new business relationships and strengthening existing ones, whilst ensuring fair outcomes for all types of customers
  • Assist in the communication of new products, propositions and relevant market information to customers
  • Work closely with structured trade solutions to provide innovative receivables-based solutions to extant and new to bank businesses
  • Proactively support Relationship Manager in discussions and client pitches
  • Deepen your understanding of the clients through credit and customer due diligence reviews

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

  • Extensive experience of Business Development with Receivables Finance at the heart
  • Proven ability to deliver creative and flexible customer solutions
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a particular emphasis upon inspiring, influencing and negotiating in dealing with customers and colleagues
  • Excellent range of communication skills, including written and verbal, and the ability to deliver compelling presentations
  • Ability to interact with business customers at a senior and strategic level
