Our client is a global IT services, consulting, and business solutions organisation with a significant UK and Ireland presence. They deliver large-scale digital transformation programmes across industrial, manufacturing, and engineering sectors, working in close collaboration with leading technology partners and hyperscalers.

They are a strategic partner to Siemens, offering the full Siemens portfolio including Siemens Xcelerator, Digital Engineering, Smart Manufacturing, and Industrial AI solutions to enterprise clients across the UK and Ireland.

About the Role

This is a senior Director-level opportunity responsible for driving consulting-led sales, business development, and strategic growth across the Siemens portfolio within the UK and Ireland. The Business Development Director will position and sell Siemens Technologies and Software Suites to large enterprise clients, engaging CXO and Director-level stakeholders to shape and close complex, high-value transformation deals. Operating within a matrix and global delivery organisation, the successful candidate will collaborate with technology partners and hyperscalers, leveraging deep expertise in Digital Thread concepts, PLM, MES, and Siemens Digital Industries Software to identify, develop, and close significant new business opportunities across engineering and manufacturing sectors.

Key Skills

  • Track record of positioning and selling Siemens Technologies and Software Suites including Siemens Xcelerator
  • Proven experience in consulting sales and pre-sales within engineering or manufacturing environments
  • Familiarity with Siemens Digital Engineering, Smart Manufacturing, and Industrial AI solutions
  • Experience engaging and influencing CXO and Director-level stakeholders on large transformation deals
  • Deep knowledge of Digital Thread concepts, PLM, and MES
  • Experience collaborating with technology partners and hyperscalers
  • Proven ability to operate within matrix and global delivery organisations
  • Strong consultative selling and solution positioning capability
